A Woman's Hairbrush (Revisited - Again)

We have shared a number of posts about our thoughts regarding a Woman's Hairbrush.  I think its the ultimate symbol of a woman's power and authority.  A while back Cora spoke of some of her hairbrushes in her "Hairbrush Comparison Test" video and was even referred to in a comment in our previous post (thanks JD).

My fascination for the hairbrush continues and was peaked while reading some stories about women using their hairbrushes to discipline their naughty 'boys'.  But something really caught my eye: There seemed to be a special about an ebony hairbrush.  It seems as though an ebony hairbrush symbolizes even stronger feminine power.  As a wood, ebony is heavier than most and is certainly a scarce resource.

So off I went in search of one for Cora.  I found one on e-Bay and was able to score the winning bid.  It came from the UK and arrived quite quickly for its traverse of an ocean and a continent.  Its almost the same size as our older Nu-West/Leda hairbrush (the one featured in our wedding video last January) but it weighs about 20% more.

Its getting hard to find a traditional flat back hairbrush that's large enough to make a substantial impact so I felt lucky to find one that seemed to fit our criteria.  However when it arrived I found that instead of a flat back, it had a slight concave shape to it.

So Cora took it for a 'test drive' and over her lap I went.  She found that she liked the balance and the weight.  She started to spank me with it, lightly at first.  Then she increased the intensity a bit.  Much to our surprise, the concave shape seemed to enhance its effectiveness.  When Cora applied a bit of 'English' (pun intended, remember it came from the UK) it really resulted in an intense sting accompanied by a rather loud 'crack'.  And Cora found that it seemed to have a natural 'snap' at the end of her stroke.  She said, "it almost spanks by itself".

It appears we will need to upgrade the video of Cora's Hairbrushes and I think she will be planning a rather serious session with it.  Soon.  After all its my birthday on Wednesday.

More to come and maybe a video or two.

Our 2013 Holiday Light Show

I know some of you have noticed a lack of posts here for a while.  Well, no excuses but much of my time has been dedicated to the creation of our 2013 Holiday Light Display.  I know this is 'off topic' for the normal postings but I thought I'd share a bit of it here:

And if you want to see more of what we have uploaded, we have created a new blog.  You can see everything we have uploaded so far at:

Holiday Gifts for the Woman in Charge

Well, its that time of year again.  Cora and I have been really busy getting our Holiday Light display up and running.  And I know that some of you are wondering what kind of holiday gift to give to that special Woman, who is in charge of the household.  Well, we have a few ideas that we'd like to share.

The mailbox has been full of mailings from stores and vendors and a recent advertisement from one of our favorite pharmacy featured something that just might be the perfect gift for a Woman who is in charge of household discipline; 'The Paddle Brush'.  Yes PADDLE Brush.

For me, there is nothing more symbolic of the power of the Female Disciplinarian than her hairbrush.  We have posted several times and one of my favorite spankings from Cora was the one she administered just after exchanging our vows at our wedding. (You can still see the video in our posts in January).

So, naturally we just had to check it out.  Now, the advertisement showed what appeared to be a hairbrush decorated in holiday style in shades of red and green with a bit of blue.  However, there was a disclaimer in the ad that stated 'Selection may vary by store'.  So while we thought we could add a festive addition to Cora's hairbrush collection, it turned out that the closest thing we could get was one that was mostly black with red details and even a few rhinestones.

So naturally we just had to get one (only $4.99!).  And as we had completed our purchase and were leaving the store, I couldn't resist saying to the check-out clerk, "She gets the Brush and I get the Paddle".  (Yes, I agree that remark should earn me a date with Cora's Hairbrush!)

Our favorite site for FLR spanking fiction is, of course, 'The Library of Spanking Fiction' (LSF) and I love spending time reading the wonderful stories of men getting spanked, paddled, caned and otherwise disciplined by women in their lives.

Well, they are featuring two volumes of fiction dedicated to Female Disciplinarians; one F/M oriented and another catering to F/F interests.  They do feature that other side of the paddle but that's outside the scope of this blog.  But do check out their site.  There is a link to them on the right side of this blog.

And as another idea you might consider one of the small OTK paddles that our dear friend, Dana Specht sells from her website.

Of course these are manufactured right here.  And I can assure you that the resulting sting is something you will remember over the holidays.

And for the 'Gift that Keeps On Giving', there is the full sized Spencer Paddle.  These are replicas of the ones that Nu-West/Leda used to sell and can certainly leave an 'impact' on your holiday.

Happy Holidays from us and may Santa bring you everything you asked for (and be careful what you do ask for).
