One of our rather major projects involved clearing four flower beds and planting new things. The pic above shows the 'fruits' of that labor, some beautiful tomatoes. And they taste as good as they look!
I won't bore you with all the details of what else we have been doing. However, there is a backlog of 'Discipline' slips piling up on our refrigerator and Cora will have quite a job getting through the backlog. And if she were to check, she would find a few pairs of her panties missing, too!
So when we get back into the 'swing' of things, we will post some of the details. Until then, here is one from our archives.
Hmmm, do you think Cora will try to match the color of my bottom with our tomatoes?

Our tomatoes have been coming in too (and it has been a pretty good season for the garden so far). Hopefully you can enjoy your garden and get back into the "swing" of things soon (pun intended).

We've been growing fabulous tomatoes for more than thirty years, and I can definitely say that I've never been more disappointed in my tomato crop that I am this year.
They look beautiful, good colour and next to no blossom rot, but when you feel them, they're as hard as rocks and when you cut into them, they're completely green inside.
I've grown this particular variety in the past, so I don't know what the problem is. We've had an abnormally hot and dry summer, but I've been liberal with the water, and tomatoes love sun, so what the heck is going on???
Our tomatoes have been fantastic. It's so good to remember what real, homegrown veg tastes like, rather than the forced stuff from supermarket. As for your bottom Ken, I think with all those punihsment slips piling up, it might end up like a skinned tomato - red raw!
We are water logged here in NJ but our tomatoes are awesome, nice and red like we know the lovely Cora will make your bottom.
Be well and best always
Ron
Exactly what I was thinking... your butt will look tomato colored! :)
I hope you put those panties to good use.. I know I would have! You know, to make the punishment "worthwhile" :)
