Research

As much as we make an attempt to keep our Female Led Relationship energized including spankings at regular intervals, it just seems like life gets in the way.  So our intended Wednesday maintenance spanking plans sort of faded into the sunset.  I can't even remember when I received last Wednesday spanking.  Probably something like 3 or maybe even four weeks ago.  In any event it just wasn't working.

Recently there has been some interesting activity from some of you with regard to our Notice of Discipline forms.  There was a surge of requests and I sent out over a half dozen to you.  (And my offer still applies: if you want a copy in MicroSoft Word format, just drop us an e-Mail).  I even received a copy of one of the forms that was filled out along with a few pictures of his bottom after receiving a spanking following the filling out of one of the forms.  I plan to share those with the group hopefully in the near future.

So I started thinking about the form and also about our maintenance spankings.  Probably dangerous!

Over five years ago Cora and signed a contract that deals with our relative disciplinary positions.  Its basically a modified 'Spencer Spanking Plan' contract that basically states that Cora has permission to spank me along with a responsibility to spank me.  This contract was set up before we 'invented' our Notice of Discipline form.

I thought it might make sense to make an amendment to our contract.  Not a complete revision as it still applies in its current form, but amendments that will address some of the aspects of the forms.  For example, sometimes Cora will issue a form and then not execute the appointed discipline.  This happens for many reasons often just because other priorities arise.  So I thought that our forms should have an expiration. What I came up with was a time period of 3 days (72 hours).  The form becomes null and void after the expiration of 72 hours.  Now, if Cora still believes I should be disciplined, she has the ability to re-issue the Notice of Discipline but it now will have a new time and date that the discipline will be administered.

I also addressed the part of the form that indicates 'mild', 'moderate' and 'severe'.  I came up with the idea that if the 'spanking' box is checked, an assignment of 'mild' discipline would be five minutes over her knee with a spanking from her Hairbrush, OTK Spanking Paddle, or any other implement appropriate for an Over-The-Knee spanking.  Likewise, a 'moderate' spanking would be ten minutes and a 'severe' spanking would be fifteen minutes.  We have that really nice five minute 'hourglass' that we obtained from the good folks at Cane-Iac and thought that Cora could turn it over the appropriate number of times.

I have nearly completed the amendments to our contract to address the Notice of Discipline forms and have also been working on some thoughts that I plan to add as amendments to address our Maintenance Spanking schedule including changing the day to Sunday.

Since this is Sunday, I asked Cora if she was up for some research into the idea of a Sunday spanking and also how a five minute session of OTK spanking from her Ebony Hairbrush and her OTK Spanking Paddle.  She complied!

I must say that as I am writing this post I am not sitting comfortably.  I just received five minutes of Cora's Ebony Hairbrush and her OTK Spanking Paddle and she left me with a very red bottom with little white 'bull's eye' marks.

The result of the research seems to be positive.  Very Positive!  We both feel nicely charged up as a result and I have a great view of Cora's curvy Derriere while she is composing one of her awesome red bell pepper sauce that will eventually be served over pasta.  She is 'groovin' to the blues music we are listening to and watching her is really great eye candy.  Can you believe that 'I'm a Bad Boy', just came up on the radio?

I'll probably get spanked for posting this view of Cora but from comments I've received I'm not the only one in line to be spanked for looking at this view!

Even though its been a while since our last post, there have been a number of developments I want to share with you who have kept loyal to reading our blog.  This includes a new 'Spanking Bench' that works even better than the one we posted about way back in April.  More to come.  Cora has suggested we get the camera out to capture some of our new developments.

Petticoating

Since I have written about our 'Notice of Discipline' form in our previous post and also uploaded a picture of it to my profile area of FetLife, I have received over a half dozen requests for copies.  There has also been a number of comments added to the picture of it on FetLife.  One of those comments really intrigued me.

The comment left by one young woman said, "Dare we ask what 'petticoating' is?"  Obviously she had looked closely at our Notice of Discipline form, specifically in the 'Discipline Recommendation' area of the form where one of the check box options is 'Petticoating'.

It appears that the term 'Petticoating' is just not used much any more.  In the early days of Nu-West, I had seen it referred to often.  In fact they offered a publication, "A Complete Guide To Petticoat Punishment" in their Catalog Number Four.  This Catalog was the first one I received from Nu-West and is one of my prized possessions.  It is interesting to note that this publication did not show in Nu-West Catalog Number Five or Six (that's as far as I looked).

On page 35 of Catalog Number Four is a description of the Complete Guide.  Included in the description is "A must for the dominant wife or girlfriend who discovers that SHE is in charge".  The price was a mere $5.95.  I purchased a copy.  I am not sure of the publication date of the Catalog but included on the page that described the Complete Guide is an announcement, "Publications Available October 1, 1982".  That sounds about right based on my memories.  But that makes it well over 30 years ago.  Oh, and as an insert to Catalog Number Four was an advertisement for 'Pamela Peterson's Punishment Panties'.  Note the caption, "Husband or boyfriend been a bad little boy?  Spank him soundly and then put him in these pretty punishment panties for the rest of the day."  Funny that there doesn't seem to be a price.  But it does seem that Petticoat Punishment was a big focus in the early days of Nu-West.

So I pulled my copy of the Complete Guide and read it once again.  It is a fascinating document to read and describes in great detail both Petticoat Punishment and how a woman should (or at least could) establish her dominance over her man.  The introduction indicated that Petticoat Punishment originated in the UK and Europe when many families employed 'Governesses' to look after the children.  It was when a popular instrument of correction was the rattan cane.  However as the book states, "A wise governess soon learned that using a can on some young boys only made them a hero in the eyes of the other children."  It seems that some of the more knowledgeable governesses would make some of their naughty male charges wear girls clothing for a period of time.  "The idea was that a young gentleman who had to attend tea dressed in satin slippers, white silk hose, petticoats, and a dress certainly would not feel like a hero." Thus the term 'Petticoat Punishment'.  The Complete Guide further states, "Perhaps after tea the governess would continue his punishment by placing him over her lap, baring his bottom and administering a sound spanking with a hairbrush. The other children, hearing the cries and pleas of the victim and witnessing the colorful effect of the paddling certainly had no desire to experience the same treatment themselves."

So I hope that explains Petticoat Punishment and a bit of its origins.  The book goes on to explain how a wife could 'Petticoat' her husband.  The recommendations are for at least three 'uniforms': one for the 'Serving Maid', another for the 'Working Maid' and finally the 'Punishment Uniform'.  There are also plenty of references on how to apply discipline, recommendations on spanking implements and even positions such as the classic Over-the-Knee and 'bend over and grab your ankles'.  In addition there are precautions on the application of corporal punishment but also, "A dose of corporal punishment should have dual effect.  It should be extremely painful while it is being applied and the area it was applied to should remain very tender for a period of time afterwards.  This tenderness serves as a lasting reminder of both the offense and the corrective action".

On the last page some conclusions are made including: "Domestic discipline as I have described it here is probably practiced in many more homes than you and I would ever guess".  "Always remember the key traits of a dominant woman.  She is firm but fair, strict, demanding, aloof and unyielding".  "And above all when that bare bottom is turned upside down across your knee waiting for the paddle or hairbrush don't disappoint him.  When you let him up his eyes should be wet with tears, his knees should be quivering and his bottom should be blistered- and I do mean blistered!"

I don't think I could have said it better!  Even though we have been promoting these ideas for several years now.  Note especially the words, "don't disappoint him" above.  When we boys are naughty we do want to be held accountable and suffer the consequences.  Its how we submissive men know we are both forgiven and loved.

So, does Cora 'Petticoat' me?  Well, we have experimented in it some but she has never checked the 'Petticoating' box on our form.  A few Halloween seasons ago we did find a 'French Maid' costume that fit me (at least then).  I have to admit that there is an erotic element when Cora makes me wear such things.  She even found a pair of women's shoes that fit me with slightly high but reasonable heels.  She even found a wig for me to wear (another Halloween find).

I don't like to feel that some of the things we employ 'humiliate' me.  I much prefer to consider that some of these things are the ways I express my submissiveness to her.  And for me it is very erotic.  And it doesn't work unless Cora initiates it.  I have recently chatted with a gentleman who really enjoys crossdressing.  I have seen pictures and he is amazing when dressed up and made up to look like a woman. However its not 'my thing'.  But I do enjoy it when Cora instructs me to wear her panties.  I guess I'm lucky in that I can fit in her panties and it makes it more special when its HER panties that she makes me wear.  And I do know plenty of guys who also share my excitement about our wives' panties and many also express an erotic desire to be made to wear them.  Of course, there is a reason I purchased the Complete Guide.  Would I like it if Cora stepped up her dominance through Petticoating?

Notice of Discipline Form and Lots of Contacts

Like many of you, I'm a member of the FetLife site.  And have been for quite a long time.  And naturally I 'subscribe' to several of the FetLife 'groups' that pertain to the FLR lifestyle along with a few that just address women spanking men.  A recent post appeared in the 'F/M Spanking' group indicating that the poster had seen a notice for discipline on a blog.  Naturally I wondered if what the poster was referring to was the one we created several years ago.

So I posted a copy to my profile on FetLife and sure enough, it was the one he was looking for.  So now he has a copy and is looking forward to sharing it with some of his spanking female friends.  He has promised to let me know how things work out using the forms in their 'role play'.  I hope to share some of the results if he grants me permission.

And another result of my membership on FetLife is that I have received contacts from several other guys like me who have an interest in Female Led Relationships and getting spanked by the Ladies in our lives.  Most of those making contact are familiar with our blog.  Its been very gratifying to hear from these kindred spirits as making contact with others has been one of the hoped expectations from our blog.

This weekend I have been involved with helping to teach a class.  Its something totally unrelated to our FLR stuff but it was very successful.  So I'm looking forward to spending some quality time over Cora's lap.  Last Wednesday while shopping out and about, we found another stool that will become Cora's new official 'Spanking Chair'.  We found that the first one was a little too tall and both Cora and I found it to not be as comfortable as we wanted.  The new one is shorter and we both really like it.  Its made of solid teak and its just plain 'gorgeous'.  After bringing it home, Cora couldn't resist trying it out.  So once she was sitting on it, I couldn't resist hopping over her lap.  Naturally Cora couldn't resist spanking me with her new Ebony Hairbrush (yes, we have yet another Ebony Hairbrush). This was repeated no less than three addition times on Wednesday and a couple of times on Thursday and Friday.  We plan on doing some photography soon and will be posting about it.  UPDATE: I just now (Monday) got my bottom burned again.  Cora must have delivered a hundred from her Ebony Hairbrush which resulted in quite the reddened bottom.   :-)

Oh, and a while back I wrote a story.  Guess what!  It got published!  Its on 'The Library of Spanking Fiction', my favorite story site (there's a link here on our blog- look on the right side column).  It was published on April 28.  Its titled, "Spats or Sentences" and describes a fantasy I have always had about getting a paddling in fifth grade.  I have no way to go back and change things so I wrote the story.  I also hope to engage Cora in a re-creation of my story where she fills the role of my fifth grade teacher.  I'm betting that she can more that do a good job!

Inspiration & FLR Hero

Its been a while since our last post.  I've been fighting the affects of a virus since early May and only lately have felt like I'm rid of it.  Yuk!  And there have been some things that I wanted to share with everyone like Cora's new Ebony Hairbrush (yes, yet another and its a doozy!), the story I have published on the Library of Spanking Fiction and a few other things.  I plan to post more about these soon.

However, even though I haven't kept up very well, at least some of you keep reading.  And just this morning my e-Mail in-box treated me with a comment.  It is from 'June' who is the female half of another Female Led Relationship.  It touched both Cora and I.  Here is what she said:

Dear Lady Cora, Loved your recent maintenance spanking videos, especially the closing credits to part one when we can hear the hairbrush being administered while the lovely still picture of you looking TOTALLY IN CONTROL appears on the screen. I can't express how much June's comments touched us.  Ever since we started this blog, we have hoped to inspire women to take charge of their relationships and to discover the joys and benefits from the application of discipline to the guys in their lives.  It appears that Ms. June has done just that.  Wow!

And since its Wednesday I am way overdue for my own maintenance spanking.  I hope that Ms. June's kind words help inspire Ms. Cora to later take me over her knee and apply her new Ebony Hairbrush to my very needy backside.  I'll be thinking that perhaps Jonathan will be getting the same from Ms. June.

Fun & Games at the Safeway

It never ceases to amaze me how Cora seems to attract attention whenever we go shopping 'out and about'. She just seems to bring out the best in people and many fun conversations have resulted from our interactions.  It seems that people can just feel Cora's positive energy and want to experience some of it.  I know that I just love being on the edge of all her energy.

Today was no exception.  We were stocking up on things at our local Safeway and found ourselves engaged with several other customers, but especially one lady.  The conversation just kept going and we were having quite a good time.  So much so that some of the staff, who we already know quite well, had to come to see what all the fun was.  It was certainly 'party time' at the Safeway.

So what does this have to do with our FLR and our blog?  Well, I could sense that Cora and this other woman were both women who enjoyed their power.  And while I don't know if she was a candidate to be the leader of a Female Led Relationship, I certainly felt she had potential.  So I mentioned to Cora to give her one of our cards.  Its a business sized card with a pic of Cora and the link to our website.

So Ma'am (I'll keep her anonymous), if you log on just know that this post is about you.  We thoroughly enjoyed meeting you.

And isn't it interesting to know that you never know when you might run into a 'kindred spirit' somewhere.

Ramblings on Paddles and Things

Well its Wednesday and in our house it means 'Maintenance Spanking Day'.  It seems like just yesterday that we recorded our video of one of those Maintenance Spankings.  But that video was taken two weeks ago.  And so far the two videos have racked up a total of over 15,000 views between the two of them on both YouTube and SpankingTube.

So far we have received eight comments on our blog and a few on SpankingTube too.  One of those indicated he thought Cora's dialogue to be 'corney but hilarious'.  Others thought it was 'cute', 'short but to the point' and several liked the fact that I was wearing her panties.  In fact one of the comments 'hoped I would steal more panties, soon'.  Not to worry, I will likely maintain my status as a 'panty thief' and will no doubt get 'caught'.

Cora the Girdle Model

You may also be aware that Cora models some of her lingerie (girdles, specifically) and has quite a following on one of the Yahoo Groups.  I have created a Tumblr site, 'LadyCorasGirdles' where I have been posting pictures and videos from her girdle modeling sessions.  And since I have been updating things, her pictures are starting to show up in other sites as her pix are 'ReBlogged'. 

Well, today is Wednesday and I expect that Cora will be applying her Ebony Hairbrush later.  We don't plan on pictures or videos so I expect more of a 'no-nonsense' type of spanking.  Its fun to create videos and take pictures but it does take away some of the focus on getting spanked.  I am looking forward to an 'old fashioned, good, hard spanking' from Cora today. 

Last Wednesday as I was waiting for Cora to deliver last week's maintenance spanking, I thought I'd make an attempt at writing a story.  I thought it would really get me into the mood and indeed it did.  I've thought about writing for quite some time but wasn't sure where to start.  But last Wednesday I just started writing.  Writing about my memories of fifth grade and how my female teacher would offer a choice if she caught you mis-behaving, like talking out of turn in class.  'Spats or Sentences' was the term used and you could either write 500 lines or take a paddling.  Now, I was very much aware of my own sexual attraction to the idea of getting paddled by a strict, female authority figure.  And while I was disciplined several times for things like talking in class, I never had the nerve to take a paddling.  Something I still regret. So I started writing a story about what would happen if I had chosen a paddling. 

One of the first paddles I purchased was a classic 'school paddle'.  It's 18 inches long overall with the handle taking up about 6 inches.  The width is 3-1/2 inches and its about half an inch thick.  Its made out of a light wood, perhaps ash or maple and has a natural finish.  My memories of the paddles used during my grade school years was very similar.  At least that's what I remembered.  So its a little smaller than our classic Spencer and a lot lighter than the PurpleHeart paddle.

So I pulled it off Cora's rack.  I was thinking that I might ask Cora to apply a dozen or so hard swats so that the description in my story might be more accurate.  However, I had completed my story before I could make my request to Cora.  But that paddle remained sitting on our table.  And it did not go unused.

The next day Cora and I got into a 'discussion'.  Well maybe more than just a discussion.  I won't go into the details but lets just say that we both had a strong opinion about something and neither of us was willing to cave.  Don't get me wrong, we were not in a 'fight' or even an argument but were having a light hearted disagreement.

It didn't take very long for Cora to decide to drive her point home.  With a paddle, that is.  So soon I found myself bent over our kitchen table.  Now, normally Cora would go for her Spencer Paddle but she couldn't help but noticing the 'school paddle' still sitting conveniently on the table and decided to grab it.  I soon found myself getting paddled.  And quite hard, too.  No holding back this time.  Cora was determined to get me to change my mind and agree with her. 

Keep in mind that we were both laughing our way through this discussion but I wasn't about to give in.  However, Cora wasn't about to give in, either.  "So, do you agree with me, now," she kept asking, accentuating her point with another hard swat of the paddle.  "No, Ma'am," I politely disagreed.  "Whack," was her reply.  Well, this went on for quite a while and I was really feeling the heat and sting from her paddling.

What the outcome was doesn't matter but finally we both backed down.  But the bottom line (I love those puns!) was that Cora had forgotten how much she likes using that paddle.  I think my future will include a number of padding's from it.  I won't complain. 

Oh and I think I got sufficient results for the research I needed for my story. And my story has been submitted for publishing.  I'll post more on the status of it when I hear back from the publisher.

Wednesday is Spanking Day - Part 2

And part 2 is reserved for when Ms. Cora has found my behavior to warrant additional discipline.  In our maintenance spanking arrangement this second part involves Cora applying her Spencer Paddle to my naughty behind.

I think a couple of comments are in order here.  Note that the overall spanking I received last Wednesday was relatively short; about 3 minutes combined.  Compare that to the previous week's session which was about 15 minutes (based upon the music that was playing).  And that week's maintenance spanking did not even require a second part (I was such a good husband!)

So chalk up the shortness to the fact that we haven't done a video for a while.  And there is so many things requiring attention during the creation of a video.  Not that we're making excuses but both Cora and I learn quite a bit from the process.  And we really do appreciate the comments we receive and they also provide great input on how we can improve things.
