2023!

 Today is a day in May, 2023.  I don't know if anyone is following us as its been almost two years since our last post.  I won't even try to make excuses and our last post speaks of many things that still apply.

I have received an inquiry or two regarding our lifestyle and its been delightful to hear from them.  I'm not making any promises but perhaps I'll elaborate in a later post.  Its very satisfying to hear from others into many of the things that we have written about.  Oh, and I still get spankings from Lady Cora.  I found a source of some really nice paddles and that could be material for a future post.

And there is still interest in our 'Notice of Discipline' forms.  I have e-Mailed a number of the forms in answer to a request. 

Surviving

Well, we've survived the Green Goo, the Orange Menace and currently working on diffusing he Grey Gloom.  We are trying hard to just move on.  

Lady Cora and I are still not up to the days when she would get into her FLR state of mind and discipline me. We really enjoyed taking photos and videos and sharing them with our friends here on our blog.

So while there are no new photos or videos to share, I thought I'd share a few video snaps from one of our videos from a few years back. The video is still up on 'Spanking Tube' (search for 'SpankedbyWife").  Yesterday I got inspired and composed a few new scenes from that video and captured the spirit of things the way they were back then.

What Must Be Said

This morning I was greeted by an e-Mail from the owner of the site, "All Things Spanking".  He indicated that he was 'restarting' and wanted to let me know that our blog was listed on his.  Needless to say, we were flattered by his post.  And even though it took a bit of re-discovery, I added his listing to our blog list.

As I was looking at a few of the blogs listed on our site I just happened to open up 'My Bottom Smarts' which is hosted by Bonnie.  Now Bonnie has been around for a long time and is someone who I have a deep respect for as she has always been helpful to her fellow bloggers.

Her post of June 6 is especially touching: "What Must Be Said".  I would suggest to go to her site and read it. Her Blog is on our list of  'Blogs We Follow" on the right side of our postings.  Her blog listing is on the bottom (I don't know why on the bottom of the list) so its easy to find from here.

Cora and I have not been very active since 2016 and have only posted 5 times since (including this post).  I had refrained from explaining why but it is related to the things Bonnie covers in her post.  We really didn't want to dip our feet into the waters of politics as we feel its dangerous and serves no purpose, especially related to our FLR theme of this blog.

However, its now time to speak out on "What Must Be Said".

Spanked For Inappropriate Behavior

Its been a while since our last post.  We are actually doing quite well and have been in a self-quarantine for almost three months.  We have been getting all we need through deliveries and have only ventured out once so that we could deposit our Covid check and get our propane tank filled in order to use our grill.

We have developed a regular routine for Saturday evenings.  We start things about 5:00 PM.  Cora prepares two trays of cold cuts, sliced cheese, cauliflower, broccoli and small pieces for bread.  Once things have been prepared we settle into our theater room and watch movies.  This concludes by watching this week's feature from 'Svengoolie'.  His narration of the classic horror movies is very entertaining.  This week's feature was the 1935 'Bride of Frankenstein'.  We decided to watch Mel Brooks' 'Young Frankenstein' first.  It was a delightful combination.

About 6:30 PM we too a break to refresh cocktails and add a small amount to our trays.  During the process I tried to pick up the cauliflower but apparently did so with a slight 'attitude'.  Cora immediately went into 'Disciplinarian Mode'. 

I recently downloaded a couple of items from the internet and printed them on 4 by 6 photo paper.

In addition I printed two of my favorite photos of Cora.

Recently I had shared a story from 'The Spanking Library' in which a 17 year old boy convinced his step-mother to spank him.  Her preferred method was bare bottom, over her knee with a Jokari paddle.  I think Cora became inspired by this story and hung hers below her collage along with her favorite leather paddle

So Cora had close access to her Jokari paddle and decided she wanted to put it to good use.  She bent me over the kitchen counter where I had been standing.  The then proceeded to deliver a few really hard swats from her Jokari paddle.  The Jokari paddle is a very effective disciplinary tool and is one of the few that works well in the Over-The-Knee or Bend-Over-And-Touch-Your-Toes positions.  It was obvious from the first swat that Cora was going to make a point, and a point she did make.  Actually several.

After delivering her paddling, Cora returned the Jokari to its hanger but first said, "Do you think I should administer another session?"  My reflexes kicked in and I answered "No, Ma'am".  And that was the end of it and we returned to having a very pleasant evening.  However I felt that I had been put in my place, feeling quite humble from her disciplinary actions.  I later confirmed that Cora felt quite satisfied after paddling me.

Looking back, although Cora had administered  a sufficient sting into my backside. I almost wished she had not taken my 'No' answer and instead had administered another session.

Implementation of a Demerit System

One of the Yahoo Groups I subscribe to included a post be a member describing a system of Demerits he and his wife use to track behavior and determine discipline to be administered.  One key aspect of their system is that it is the husband's responsibility to keep track of his own behavior.  There are even consequences if he fails to track a specific behavior (double Demerits). 

I found this idea to be not only creative but a system that could be adopted to our own situation.  So for the past six weeks or so, we've been using this system.  I now get weekly spankings and our relationship has gone from rather stale to exciting again. 

I may share more details in the future.

Still into a Female Led Marriage/Relationship

Yes, we've been dormant for a while but lately things have been heating up (pun intended).  About seven weeks ago we have been implementing a Demerit system.  It was inspired by a post on the 'Spanked_by_their_Wives' Yahoo group. 

We have also been putting our toe in the water of Chastity.

I plan to post more information in the future, especially the details of our Demerit system since its working where other systems we've tried have failed.

Its Been a While

Yes, we've been 'dormant' for over two years.  Its been a rather frustrating time and I'm not going to go into details.  Just know that we're still here and for the most part doing fine.

I still enjoy reading and the subject matter includes things relating to our FLR lifestyle.  Yesterday I decided to purchase a couple of items from Scarlett Hill Enterprises.  They publish e-Zines that deal with Women-Spanking-Men subject matter.  We've written about them in the past and my connection goes back to when they were publishing with paper.

So, it was amazing when I opened up the latest 'Spank-Happy Wives' (issue number 8) and found two photos of Cora and I!  The photos were of Cora and I at our wedding and were being used to illustrate one of the letters that had been submitted to Barbara, one of the editors at S.H.E.

The above two photos appeared with the following caption:

"We couldn't ask for or come up with any better illustrations to enhance this letter then these heart & seat warming snaps from the ceremony that united our dear friends Lady Cora and her couldn't be spank-happier spouse in the bonds of marriage & world of blogging about it before the demands of doing so rendered spankedbymylady.blogspot.com dormant."

Needless to say, we are very flattered by the kind words from S.H.E.  I later corresponded with Barbara and she graciously granted permission to use anything from them in our blog.

We're not sure how often we'll post in the future but we couldn't resist sharing the results of the kindness of the publishers at S.H.E.

Spanked (Finally)!

Well its only been two days since we broke our silence with a post and we've already had five comments to our most recent post.  Thanks to our readers for not giving up on us.

Now that our light show is up and running almost on auto-pilot we've got some time that we can dedicate for other things.  (Oh, and Ms. Vanessa- Yes we have a lot of lights but if you want to see some 'mega' light shows, check out 'The Great Christmas Light Fight' on ABC on Monday at 8:00PM. A recent display featured 1,000,000 lights!)

As mentioned in our previous post, one of our readers who hosts the blog 'Our Bottoms Burn' mentioned that he signals his wife his desire for a spanking by wearing red panties.  I'm not sure but it may work both ways for them and he left a comment that he would post about 'Red Panty Days soon'.  We will definitely be looking forward to that post and any details.

I'm still amazed at the volume of material I see on the internet regarding men who are spanked by their Ladies and the connection with panties.  Often the choice to be in panties is from the wives or girlfriends (actually it seems mostly not really a choice).  But many of us (myself included) have found that its just more fun to wear panties.  For those that wear them, you know what I mean; for those that don't, you don't know what you're missing.  Archedone's left a comment that he is often 'warmed up' while wearing panties, then they are peeled down for the finale.  He also said that "when that is all I have on R (his wife)  always has a big smile looking at me". 

Well, I think its been no secret that I have converted to wearing panties almost exclusively for almost two years now.  In fact I got inspired yesterday and ordered almost a dozen new ones from 'HerRoom' one of the many vendors of ladies underwear and one of our favorite places to make purchases. 

And speaking of inspiration, Cora mentioned that my posting two days ago may inspire her.  So, knowing her preferences, yesterday morning the panties I selected were in what I know to be her favorite color.  My early morning routine includes taking our dogs outside for their morning 'business'.  Of course that means wearing something over my panties so Cora did not know what was underneath.

After bringing our pups inside my next priority is to prepare Cora's morning espresso beverage.  While grinding the coffee beans and warming up the machine I mentioned the comment about the red panty signal. I then asked her what color panties she would prefer for me to wear as a signal to her that I would open to getting spanked.  She replied, "Blue".  I then removed my outer covering to reveal that I was wearing blue panties.

So, this morning I again chose blue panties hoping she'd pick up on the signal.  She did!

After preparing her second cup of her espresso beverage she told me to bend over the table and selected the leather paddle from her rack.  Yes, Cora's rack still graces our kitchen area although I think its collecting a fair amount of dust.

We haven't done much photography dealing with our FLR lifestyle but I did pull out the camera and Cora snapped a couple of shots, above showing my new blue panties (I think this is the first photo of my new panty collection) followed by the one below showing the results from Cora's paddling.

I mentioned above that I had made a purchase of additional panties and I'm sure you can guess which color I chose for many of them.  By the way, do you know how difficult it is to find blue panties?

And finally while Cora was photographing the above, her keen sense of humor emerged and she told me not to get up.  Soon I felt something on my back and she took another photo. 

So in the spirit of the season Olaf (from the movie Frozen) wishes everyone Happy Holidays as do Cora and I.

We're Still Here

We hope everyone is having a good holiday season. Here, we are in the middle of running our holiday light show. Just under 10,000 lights all correographed to music. Its always fun chatting with our visitors.

Yes, its been a while since we've posted. Quite frankly 2016 has been a terrible year. A few months ago we lost one of our precious Springer Spaniels to cancer. She had been with us about ten years and was ten months away from her 14th birthday. Then there is the November nightmare.

Our own spanking activities have diminished greatly.  Oh occasionally Cora will instruct me to bend over for a few swats from on of her paddles or I might hop on her lap which usually results in a session with one of her Ebony Hairbrushes and/or the OTK Spanking Paddle.  I guess that we have been preoccupied with things that really aren't that important in the long run.

I've been amazed by the number of comments we received over the past few months even though we haven't been active. I thought I'd answer a few, esecially those which contained questions:

On December 12 Anonymous commented that his wife uses similar disciplinary methods as we have described here. He related that he gets paddled a minimum of once a week with her Spencer paddle, at least 40 swats. Oh, and she insists he wear panties, too.

On November 25 Martin mentioned the long handled bath brush that his wife uses and how much she loves to use it. I'm familiar with those and yes, it can really produce a sting with a minimum of effort. Also they seem to be easier to find that a traditional wood hairbrush. Oh, and he's another one who is pantied when spanked. Seems to be a trend.

On November 22 Phil asked if the Nu-West/Leda hairbrushes are still available. In some of my last correspondence with Leon I think he mentioned that they had found a box of them and had made them available until the stock ran out. We purchased a couple more of them. I'm sure that they are no longer available.

On November 20 PL commented on a gift of a wooden hairbrush that his wife received from a friend. Apparently he gets a monthly review and indicated that she used it during one of those sessions and that she was very pleased with it. On the other hand PL reported that it even more painful that a paddle. Welcome to the hairbrushed hubby club!

On October 24 Anonyumous indicated that he things Cora should light up my fanny far more frequently. I agree!

On October 21 Jonathan came up with a great saying: "A paddle is dandy but a hairbrush is always handy". Actually at our house both are always handy but I love the thought. And there just seems to be something special about the connection between a hairbrush and the woman who owns it.

On August 8 Vanessa said, "Too many hairbrushes is sort of like ... too many shoes. Not possible". I couldn't agree more and Cora has both lots of shoes (including those sexy classic pumps) and hairbrushes.

On June 20 OTKloverjohn suggested that Cora get me some bright red panties to match the color of my bottom after a spanking. I think I have mentioned that Cora has discovered that she loves spanking me while I'm wearing panties. However, the panties usually come down eventually. And my 'panty drawer' contains quite a number of them many of the my favorite color, red. One of our readers even mentioned that he wears red panties as a signal to his wife that he is interested in being spanked by her. I have been rather surprised at the number of men who openly admit to wearing panties.

And finally on March 28 Alfred asked for any ideas or directions on how to find a maintenance spanking partner. Well, in my opinion many women today are open to all kinds of things and what might have been looked as weird or strange a few years ago may now be acceptable. So I'd suggest just talking about it.  Take the risk.  What's the worst that could happen. In my case I brought up my desire and need to be disciplined by Cora just after we met. Life is just too short to waste time not getting what you want.

The above photo of the lovely Ms. Dana Specht appeared on Tumblr recently.  It inspired me to compose a short post as the paddle is a copy of the Nu-West OTK Spanking Paddle.  Oh, and I'm sure some of you know that the 'Signature' paddle was a product of my very own wood shop.  They have been out of production for a while but I'm very proud to provide Ms. Specht a supply which she sold from her website.  Perhaps some of you have gotten your own bottoms warmed by one of them.

The OTK Spanking Paddle is also one of Cora's favorites, too.  She has no less than three of them ready to put into action at a moment's notice.

Indeed, I do have first 'hand' experience with how these little paddles can produce a very intense sting. 

Its been several months since our last post.  We have received a few notes wondering what has happened to us.  For the most part things here, are fine and Cora and I are healthy and doing well.  And just like all of us we've had our ups and downs, ebbs and flows as part of everyday life.  We did loose one of our precious pups just a month ago.  She was just shy of her fourteenth birthday but she gave us ten years of joy.

One of my many pastimes is I enjoy is reading.  Some of my favorite authors include Michael Crichton, Dan Brown.  I also read lots of technical items such as documentation I use in designing and configuring our Holiday Light Show.

However, I probably spend even more time reading erotic stories, especially stories that involved women spanking men.  I've even had two of my own stories published on the Library of Spanking Fiction.  There is a link to the LSF on the right side of this blog.

Well, a few days ago I received an e-Mail from Lucy Appleby announcing her new e-Book, 'Disciplined by His Landlady'.  Ms. Appleby is otherwise known as Flopsybunny on the Library of Spanking Fiction and is one of the founders.  She has written hundreds of stories many of which are oriented toward F/M subject matter which I have spent many enjoyable hours reading.  She asked me if I'd share the release of this book with our readers, so here it is:

I've read part of this e-Book and am looking forward to reading more.  Stories about female teachers, female principals, female bosses, have always held an interest for me and a female landlord fits right in to the kinds of things I like.  Oh and I don't want to leave out the main authoritative woman in my life, Cora.  Ms. Appleby's book sounds like it will be very interesting  and I'm looking forward to further reading.

Another recent publication is Scarlett Hill Enterprises, No Nonsense Ladies #59.  I've posted information about SHE in previous posts, especially about NNL #58 in which Cora and I were featured.  I've read a few pages of NNL #59 and it, too has been a fun read.  The publications from SHE really hit my sweet spot (perhaps in more ways than one).

Can a Woman Have Too Many Hairbrushes

There is just something about a woman spanking a naughty boy with her hairbrush.  It seems like the ultimate symbol of feminine authority.  The internet if full of both photos and stories centering on a woman's hairbrush.  And both Cora and I are big fans of this effective implement.

Thus it was something we wanted to include in our wedding ceremony and thankfully we found a special woman to perform the festivities and included handing over the hairbrush to Cora as part of the ceremony.

Oh, and this was immediately followed by Cora administering my first spanking from her using the same hairbrush. Indeed, it was a special day!  And its hard to believe today is our third anniversary.

So, its probably no surprise that Cora has quite a collection of hairbrushes.  Also, it seems that an Ebony Hairbrush stands out as the ultimate of Hairbrushes.  I found a source for them from the UK on the internet (e-Bay, specifically).  The first one I purchased for Cora had a concave back.  I had expected the back to be flat and was surprised when it arrived.  The second Ebony Hairbrush was actually purchased to observe the differences between a hairbrush with a concave back vs. one that is flat backed.  Much to the surprise of both of us the concave backed hairbrush is much preferred by both of us.  The effect of the concave back is much like a hand spanking where she cups her hand.  The result is much stingier and the resulting sound is much sharper.  It all contributes to a much more intense spanking.  For both of us.

Well, I became rather obsessed and ended up purchasing several more of these beauties.  They are all a little different, varying from 9-3/4 to 10-3/8 inch in length, 2-1/4 to 2-1/2 inch in width and 4.70 to 5.90 ounces in weight.  Now, one of the features of the Ebony wood is that its heavier than most.  Compare the hairbrush passed to Cora in our wedding: 10-5/8 inch long, 2-11/16 inch in width and weighs in at 4.06 ounce.  So even though that hairbrush is longer and wider, its considerably lighter.  I am guessing that you have figured out that an Ebony Hairbrush spanking is a step up in intensity.  Also those of you ladies familiar with using a hairbrush know that you don't really have to put much force into spanking your naughty guy.  Just a bit of wrist action as it about to impact your naughty boy's bottom is all that's necessary to maximize the striking force.  Its almost like the hairbrush is doing all the spanking and Cora has noticed this effect is even more pronounced when using an Ebony Hairbrush.

I had corresponded with the vendor in the UK which had been my source for these Ebony Hairbrushes.  We've never been afraid to share our FLR lifestyle and I had made it no secret that we had not made these purchases with the intent in using them for hair-care.  In fact I had made reference to this vendor to others and he shared that several of my referrals had resulted in other sales for him.  One day I received an e-Mail from the vendor which said:

 "I have come across a rather interesting hairbrush. It is potentially too brutal for your arsenal but I thought of you and it made me smile because it has the largest bristles I have ever seen!"

Oh my!  Too brutal for our arsenal!  I couldn't let that one pass and made the purchase.  I knew I may be putting my poor behind in jeopardy but I couldn't resist the challenge.  Well, it turned out while this Ebony Heavyweight was about the same size in length and width (10-1/8 by 2-7/17 inches) it weighed in at a whopping 6.18 ounce.  And whopping it could do.  Indeed it did live up to the vendor's claim of being very brutal.  I can attest that a session over Cora's lap with that one is a spanking to remember.  Fortunately for me, Cora actually favors one of the other Ebony's in her collection although it is the second heaviest.  One of the features she favors is the fact that its one of the concave-backed hairbrushes while the behemoth is flat-backed.

We're Back!

OK, no apologies but we know its been a while since our last post.  But now that we've made it through our Holiday Show, we're ready to start posting again.  We had a very successful season and for the first time even hosted a show for Halloween.  We had great fun mingling with the crowds that attended our show and for the first time received fan mail and a gift or two.  We even had a couple of traffic jams in front of our house and attendance was much greater than previous years.

No promises on how often we'll post in the future but we do enjoy sharing our FLR lifestyle and hope that we will make an impact (!) on other couples who are either embracing or considering a Female Led Relationship.  And we love to hear from our readers, so feel free to leave a comment.

So, just to let you know, Cora has continued to assert her authority and even though things have been very busy and distracting, I have made a number of trips over her lap.

And yes, Cora still likes me in panties, especially when over her lap.  (More on panties at a later time).

Just a few days ago I received an e-Mail from our very good friend, Barbara of Scarlet Hill Enterprises.  She attached a copy of their latest e-Zine, Spank-Happy Wives #4.  And much to our delight Cora and I were featured twice!

It was back in February that No Nonsense Ladies #58 was issued with a feature on us.  What a thrill to be the focus of one of my favorite publishers.  Well, it was just as much of a thrill (and an honor) to find a photo of us on page three along with a photo from Aunt Kay's Disciplinary Wives' Club and also a photo from Deidre and Evan's blog.  We've made reference to the DWC many times and I have quoted Ms. Deidre often, too.

Oh, and as usual, the e-Zine is filled with lots and lots of great stories featuring wives who hold their naughty husbands accountable by spanking them.  I have consumed a little over half of the 48 pages and have found the stories riveting.  Naturally, we highly recommend this and Scarlett Hill Enterprise's many other publications.  I have mentioned that my first exposure to these fine publications was when they were being sold in print format back in the early 1990's, and they are every bit as good now as then.

So, yes its been a while since our last post.  We're still here and I still get spanked.  In fact just a few minutes ago I placed my blue pantie clad bottom over Cora's lap as she was sitting on our couch.  She took the hint and grabbed her OTK Spanking Paddle and went to work.  I still feel the tingle and I'm sure she turned my bottom a nice shade of red, appropriate for today's holiday.

Spanking the Hairdresser

I'm sure many of you have been going through some of the same mundane things we have.  Like Taxes.  This year's tax preparation process handed us two rather unpleasant surprises.  Yesterday we finally disposed of the last of them.

Part of yesterday's process was to obtain a cashier's check from our bank and mail it along with some of our forms.  I informed Cora of my intent and she asked to tag along and have me drop her off at her hairdressers.  "Sure", I replied.

Off we went.  I pulled into the parking lot behind her hairdresser's place and told her I'd be back as soon as I made my trip to the bank and post office.  My intent was to let her know she might be done before I was.

Indeed, she was done before I got back.  In fact I was delayed much longer at the post office than I expected.  A long line and only one clerk kept me much longer that expected.  So when I got back to Cora's hairdresser's she was outside.  I could tell she was a bit unhappy.  "Great", I thought.  She's upset at me for taking so much time.  Like it was my fault.

We returned home and later she explained that the way her hairdresser dealt with her hair was not a good experience.  Cora instructed her hairdresser exactly how she wanted things to go.  Unfortunately her hairdresser (a man) didn't listen.  Great, another inappropriately behaving man in her life.  Yikes!

Later in the evening Cora placed the dogs in our kennel.  I knew what she was up to.  So I closed up my computer and stripped to just the panties I was wearing.  I was going to get a spanking as a substitute for her hairdresser.  OK, I can deal with that.

SpanX.  That's been quite a story.  As mentioned before, the first ones purchased turned out to bee too small for me but they are quite happy to occupy Cora's panty drawer.  (So to speak!)  The other pair of SpanX took over three weeks to get here, arriving only last Monday, but we were able to find a pair at a local department store at our local mall.

Last Wednesday we drove to the location of our tax accountant.  On the way back I suggested that we stop at our mall. Access from the freeway was quite good and would only add about 20 minutes to our trip. Previously, I had made inquiries of where SpanX panties could be obtained.  Turns out that they are available at Nordstrom's, one of the major department stores at our mall.

So  in we went and found them on the third floor.  Oh my, there were racks and racks of them.  We had no idea that the SpanX line is so large.  We finally located a pair similar to the ones we had ordered previously but in a larger size.  We made our purchase and headed home.
